Adam L. Hecht, CFP®

Adam works with a select group of clients who value investment planning as the key driver of investment decisions. Whether the desired outcome is building wealth, retirement income, or providing a legacy for future generations, Adam seeks to design plans with the right balance of risk and return that help bring confidence to his clients. In conjunction with his investment planning work he’s also responsible for the creation and oversight of the team’s discretionary investment portfolios.
Experience
Adam has been passionate about investing since he bought his first stock in the seventh grade. He followed that passion and graduated cum laude from Quinnipiac University with a B.A. in Finance.
From there he began his career in 2000 as a Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley. After ten years of building his business and a brief stint as Sales Manager, the team decided to continue their growth at Wells Fargo Advisors. Once settled, Adam worked to broaden his knowledge and deepen his skill set by earning the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification marking his proficiency in investment planning, risk management, investing, tax planning, retirement and employee benefits. As a specially qualified Senior PIM Portfolio Manager, he provides a high level of professional services and personal attention utilizing additional money management tools and resources on behalf of clients to help them meet their financial goals.
Adam is an eight-time recipient (years 2013-2021) of the Five Star Wealth Manager Award, achieved by individuals who provide exceptional service based on research with peers, firms, consumers and regulatory sources. The Hecht & Tuthill Private Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors has also been recognized in 2023 and 2024 as one of the Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Management Teams in Rhode Island.
Away from the Office
A Rhode Island native, Adam resides in Savannah, Georgia, to be closer to extended family. He has clients throughout the country and maintains an office in both locations. His wife, Megan, with their daughters, Olivia and Maeve, and two French bulldogs are very patient with his travel schedule. He and his family return to New England to spend the summer months on Cape Cod. Adam is an avid golfer, pickleball player, and overall health nut. He’s still a big fan of his former hometown teams and closely follows the New England Patriots, Boston Celtics and Red Sox.

Ben serves individuals and families in need of retirement planning, insurance, and investment management strategies. He has dedicated his career to servicing a select group of individuals and families as they navigate the landscape of managing, preserving, and transitioning their wealth.
Experience
He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Rhode Island and began his career as a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley in 2004. His training included attaining Series 7 and 66 registrations, along with his producers Life and Health Insurance license. He has also earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®), and most recently completing the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designation in June, 2022.
These professional certifications demonstrate an expertise in pre-and post-retirement planning needs including sources of retirement income, personal savings, employer-sponsored retirement plans, income taxes, asset management, estate planning strategies, insurance and risk management.
Ben was recognized as one of Forbes Top Next-Gen Wealth Advisors for the years by Forbes (2017-2019). He is also a twelve-time recipient (2013-2024) of the Five Star Wealth Manager Award, achieved by individuals who provide exceptional service based on research with peers, firms, consumers and regulatory sources. Ben lives in Rumford, RI and Jensen Beach, FL. He has deep roots in the Rhode Island golf community, having played in college and winning the RI Amateur Championship in 2000. He is Chairman of the Northeast Amateur Invitational held annually at Wannamoisett Country Club and serves on the Executive Board for the Rhode Island Golf Association. Ben has also volunteered his time in the past to the URI Alumni Association and the John P. Burke Scholarship Fund Board.

As a Senior Registered Client Associate, Meghan is dedicated to building personal and professional relationships with clients, while supporting the needs of the financial advisors. Responsible for administrative oversight and handling of client inquiries, Meghan provides a high level of personalized service, and clients appreciate her attention to detail, as well as her ability to handle client issues with empathy and efficiency.
Experience
With more than 15 years of experience focused on client service, Meghan’s solid background helps enable her to provide a seasoned perspective to her team and clients.
She joined Morgan Stanley in 2007, and transitioned with the team to Wells Fargo Advisors in 2011. Meghan earned her Bachelor’s degree from Stonehill College and has the FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations, in addition to her MA Life and Health Insurance license.
In 2014, she earned the Wells Fargo Advisors Platinum Council Client Associate (previously Premier Client Associate) distinction which is held by a select group of Registered Client Associates within Wells Fargo Advisors nominated by their management for their consistent display of professionalism, integrity and core leadership values. Meghan is also among a select group of associates nominated to participate in the Ambassador program. Ambassadors serve as a resource for Home Office to test out ideas, concepts and policies with Financial Advisors, Managers and Support Staff. She has also served for two years as a member on the CA Advisory Council. Council members collaborate with points of contacts within their Region to identify opportunities for policy and process improvements and in turn, team up with management to help resolve them.

A Massachusetts native, Meghan resides in her hometown of Fairhaven with her dog, Roxie. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, yoga and running.

As a Senior Registered Client Associate, Anne is responsible for the coordination and supervision of special projects with a focus on enhanced client service. She strives to proactively anticipates the needs of the team and of the select group of clients we serve.
Experience
With more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Anne’s unique background and knowledge makes her a valuable resource for our clients and the team she works with.
She is a graduate of Providence College with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. Her career in the financial services industry began in 1984 as a branch manager’s assistant with Shearson Lehman Brothers. Anne then spent 11 years as a Financial Advisor with Shearson and A.G. Edwards. Looking for a change, she joined Morgan Stanley from 1998 to 2014 where she transitioned into various management roles including the positions of Associate Branch Manager, Risk Officer, and Operations Manager. Anne also spent time as a Senior Principal at Citizens Securities before joining Wells Fargo Advisors in 2017 as the Complex Operations Manager.
In 2020, Anne was recruited to join the Hecht & Tuthill Private Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors, and she is very excited to be working with clients on a day to day basis again. “It is exciting to join such a professional and well-respected team, and I’m looking forward to working directly with clients again and to utilize my management skills to add to the continued success of the team and our clients.” Anne holds FINRA Series 7, 8, 24, 53, 63, and 65 registrations.
Away from the Office
Anne and her partner, Dan, reside in Exeter, RI. She is blessed with two daughters, two step-sons, and four grandchildren who all live nearby. Anne enjoys DIY home projects, crafting, and hiking.
